22bet Uk
Posted : admin On 4/2/202222Bet is one of the newer UK’s online sportsbooks, dating just back from 2018. But don’t let that fool you, they have already made a significant impact on the gaming market with their comprehensive sports betting offer and competitive odds. 22Bet have been operating as a gambling company since 2007. However, it was in 2018 when they were granted a license to operate in the UK by the UK Gambling Commission that they really began to grow as a company. 22bet Betting Site & Offers We currently do not recommend offers from 22Bet Recommended betting offers: Why not try some other offers: View Our Newest Betting Sites 22bet is a relatively new service on the market and they seem to be highly rated the world over. Founded in 2017, and licensed to Tonybet in the UK, they’re also licensed by the government of Curacao as well as the Kenyan. 22BET is a powerful online sports betting platform. However, we offer much more than just sports betting. We offer a real thrill from a game, an opportunity to chat with fellow fans on our forum and the chance to get advice and recommendations from professionals.
Welcome to our 22Bet review, where we are taking a look at one of the newest bookmakers on the scene. We will be looking at their sign-up offer, betting markets available, and what their depositing and withdrawal methods are. As well as bringing you a whole host of other information.
22Bet is a new kid on the block. Only founded as recently as 2018, this bookie has come a long way in a short space of time though and is already very competitive. As well as being a worldwide bookmaker, 22Bet also look like they are actively pursuing UK customers. So, they will have to be good if they are to survive in such a competitive marketplace.

Licensing and Regulations for 22Bet
Let’s start our 22Bet review by looking at their licencing and regulations. 22Bet are part of the TonyBet OÜ, so despite being a new brand, you can use them with confidence, as they are part of a much larger, well-established company.
TonyBet is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, meaning 22Bet is also UK licensed and regulated.
This means there is no need to be alarmed by the fact that 22Bet is a new company. With it being licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, you get all the same rights and standards you expect from any major household name bookie operating within the United Kingdom.

What’s It Like Registering with 22Bet
As is the case with the majority of bookmakers these days, the registration process is fairly straightforward. To get you started, there is a big green button in the right-hand corner of the screen with ‘Sign Up’ on it (right next to the 22Bet login tab), ensuring you don’t have to look too hard. An obvious – but good – sign!
You have three screens to negotiate. On the first page, you’re required to give your email address, set your username, password, and your chosen currency. The two available currencies are UK Sterling and Euros.
The second page is simply your name and date of birth. Lastly, on page 3 you need to fill in your address, and then give them your mobile number, and set your security question and answer. You then move onto the deposit section.
You will be required to upload ID documents for 22Bet verification. This can be either your passport or driving licence. This is standard with all UK bookies these days, so you are not being asked to do anything out of the ordinary.
Depositing and Withdrawing Is Easy
Depositing to 22Bet is by standard methods within the UK. The best and most easy way is by Bank Transfer. You can also use your debit card – with both Visa and Mastercard accepted. There is also the other usual alternative options for depositing, such as Skrill, NETELLER, and paysafecards.
Bank Transfer, Visa, Skrill, NETELLER, paysafecard – Minimum Deposit £10
All are free to deposit with, and withdrawals are free also (unless you have a bank that charges). Overall, it is a pretty painless process.
22Bet Website Layout and Ease of Use
The website layout is pretty decent and is very easy to use. All the markets available are clearly listed down the left-hand side of the website. If you have ever used TonyBet, it’s the same as their site.
There is also a very helpful toolbar at the top of the page, giving you a direct link to last-minute bets. You can also click on Next 1h bets, Next 2h bets, and Next 4 and 8 hour bets. All helpful little additions available on the 22Bet website.
You betslip opens up in the top right-hand corner on the same page (as opposed to in a separate window). If you are in the habit of placing bets at the last second, you are in luck with 22Bet. Here you can click on your bet prior to logging in, put in your bet amount, and log in as you are placing your bet. A small thing maybe, but a great help if you are a last-minute bettor.
Does 22Bet Have A Decent Sign Up Offer
There is a decent sounding 22Bet sign-up offer, but there is a sting in the tail. You get a 100% deposit bonus, up to a maximum of £50. This sounds great, you just need to deposit £50, and you get given £50 – but it’s not that simple.
There are wagering requirements to receive the £50, and a lot of them. In order to get the full £50 deposit bonus, you will first need to deposit £50, and when doing so you need to enter the 22Bet bonus code. You then have to stake the deposit amount on a bet at odds of 1.65 or greater. This has to be done within 30 days of opening your account.
Once your bonus is activated, you will have to turn it over a massive 10 times at odds of 1.65 or greater. This is a high rollover requirement for a bookmaker. You also only have 30 days to complete the rollover requirements.
If you are a fairly active gambler who places a lot of medium-sized bets, the chances are you will complete this rollover requirement quite easily. If not, you may struggle to gain the maximum value from your welcome bonus.
Promotions for Existing Customers
Unfortunately, 22Bet doesn’t currently have any on-going existing customer promotions for their Sportsbook. There are quite a few for their casino, but nothing for us sports bettors. This is rather disappointing, as existing customer offers are quite a big selling point in the UK marketplace these days.
What Sort of Sports Does 22Bet UK Cover
22Bet are big into football, a must for UK bettors. They cover the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, La Liga, etc. Pretty much all of the main football leagues and tournaments.
They also cover popular betting sports such as Boxing, Tennis, Snooker, Cricket, Rugby Union, Formula 1 and Horse Racing. All firm favourites with the UK audience.
Outside of the mainstream sports, they also place a strong emphasis on less popular sports such as Basketball, Volleyball, Ice Hockey, and Biathlon.
What of Their Betting Markets
There is massive selection of betting markets to choose from. For example, on a Premier League football match you have just under 400 markets on an individual match. You have all of the regular markets you would get from a mainstream UK bookmaker, and more. All the usual suspects are there, as you would expect. The likes of next goal betting, correct score, total corners, yellow cards, handicaps, etc.
The markets on a football match are all categorised, such as goals, players, totals, handicaps, halves, etc. What this shows us is that there is a lot of markets available, otherwise there would be no need to separate them into categories.
And it’s as I eluded too earlier in this 22Bet review, if they want to succeed in the UK marketplace, they will need to come well equipped when it comes to football betting.
How Easy Is It to Make A Bet
The simple answer is, fairly easy. There is a list of sports and major events down the left-hand side of the screen. Simply click on one of them, and it opens up the markets in the centre column. From there select your bet, and it opens it up in a bet slip on the top right-hand side of the page. It is simple.
There is also an in-play section just below where the betslip is positioned, bringing you all the current sporting events, so you don’t have to go hunting around the site for them all.

What About the Live Betting
As I have already eluded too above, there is a dedicated section to live in-play betting on the right-hand side of the home page. This has direct links to all the main in-play events. Not only does it have direct links to the main events taking place (i.e., US Open Tennis), it also has direct quick links to the actual live matches taking place (i.e., Federer V Nadal).
There is also an in-play tab at the top of the home page. When you click on this, you then have to option to click on different live sports. For example, it might say Football (5) Tennis (3), meaning there are 5 live football matches in-play, and 3 live tennis matches taking place.
A Decent Mobile Experience
The mobile experience is decent enough. They have an app for both Android users, and also have an iOS version, meaning they pretty much have all bases covered. You can also log in to your 22Bet account on your mobile using your general browser.
The 22Bet login is just the same on your mobile, as it is on your desktop. The whole website is just as easy to use on your mobile, and you get all the same options and available markets. They get a thumbs up from us in this department.
Safety and Security with 22Bet
Activity between yourself and 22Bet is encrypted using 256-bit SSL software, the maximum strength protection on your browser. The SSL Certificates are provided by GoDaddy, an established name in the online world.
There is also a comprehensive list of tips and advice for all players on how to help keep safe online, and how to best protect your data and security. All of which helps and is educational.
One small note of caution though, that will hopefully never affect you – if you are unhappy about how 22Bet handles your data, and you can’t come to a resolution with them yourself, you would be required to take your complaint to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
Levels of Customer Care
There is a claim on the website of 24-hour customer care. The first place that you get directed to is a contact form. There is also a phone number that you can ring, and an email address, but unfortunately there is no sign of 22Bet live chat. I find live chat to be a very good option on any website I am dealing with.
There is also a pretty comprehensive FAQ page, to help you with any queries you might have. Therefore, hopefully avoiding the need to contact customer services direct by phone or waiting for a reply to an e-mail.
Company Information and History
22Bet was only formed in 2018, but this review has found them to be just as efficient as most other established bookmakers. The 22Bet brand is operated by TonyBet, with both brands using the same software. According to both bookmaker’s websites, they are both based out of Tallinn, Estonia.

Thank you for taking the time to read our 22Bet review. We hope you have found it helpful. In conclusion I have to admit to being pleasantly surprised at how good this bookmaker turned out to be.
Yes, having the clout of being part of the TonyBet group means they are actually an experienced bookmaker, rather than a novice, but at the same time I wasn’t expecting the variety of betting markets available, and all of the other add-on’s like an impressive app.
From a UK gamblers prospective I believe 22Bet ticks a lot of the same boxes as the mainstream UK and Irish bookmakers. The main differences are the rollover requirements on the welcome bonus and the lack of offers for existing customers. All of the main UK bookmakers now have offers of money back if your horse falls, or finishes second, etc – but 22Bet has none of these.
The rollover requirements on the welcome bonus also feel a bit extreme, but at the same time I have to say these are the only real major negatives I have found. No bookmaker is perfect, and the same has to be said for 22Bet. But our 22Bet review has found that this bookmaker is just as good as any other UK bookmaker I have come across, and I have no problem in using them.
UPDATE 1 SEPTEMBER 2020: 22bet.co.uk is no longer accepting new players from UK
Founded very recently in 2017, 22Bet is one of the betting industry’s rising stars. At that point, online betting was already setin in its ways, meaning any new betting sites really had their work cut out for them.
The fact that they have already established themselves among the stiff competition of the big boys should attest to their ambition and scope. The Russian-born bookmaker started making waves basically as soon as it went online with a robust service delivered in over 51 world languages.
So, what exactly made 22Bet rise up as quickly as it did? Keep reading for our overview of 22Bet’s sportsbook and betting offers.
22Bet Sportsbook
The design of this particular betting site might be a little off-beat to most experienced punters, but not necessarily in a bad way. For example, the first screen a new visitor is shown is the live betting screen, with the regular sportsbook tucked away on a separate tab. Betting sites have a certain tried-and-true pattern most online bookies like to stick to, so this might take some getting used to.
Still, at the end of the day, the whole thing is fairly clear and intuitive, with minimal clutter. We’d also like to point out that the overlay can be customised to a degree to fit your own needs.
As for the list of sports on offer – it won’t be dropping any jaws any time soon, but it includes a lot of traditional sports as well as eSports. Unless you’re looking for a really niche market, 22Bet’s got you covered. Football betting is, of course, given special care with some of their best betting offers and markets, but other sports are not left out either.
22Bet’s bookmaker rating when it comes to odds is well above average in most categories as well, and could put many bigger and older names to shame.
In-Play Markets at 22Bet
Live betting has been growing exponentially for years now, and should be a natural inclusion for a modern site such as this one. 22Bet does not disappoint on this front either. The front page we mentioned earlier points at the fact that they understand the ever-greater importance of this type of betting.
Thus, the live betting section is as comprehensive as they come, with hundreds of live events available at any given time. These are in turn each given a huge variety and betting markets updated by the minute, whose number might even overshadow the already impressive sportsbook.
Bear in mind, however, that live streaming is currently not an option on 22Bet.
What Types of Bonuses are there at 22Bet?
As a relatively newonline bookmaker, 22Bet offers a wide array of special offers and sportsbook bonuses to attract new customers. To start off, they have a system of “bet points” which accumulate as you wager, and can be used for free bets, raffles, and other goodies.
Let’s quickly go over some of the promotions on 22Bet:
Welcome Bonus
Bet22 offers to double your money as a first deposit bonus. This bonus can go up to a whopping €120 and is given in the form of free bets.
Friday Reload Sportsbook Promotion
You can take advantage of this reload bonus every Friday. Making a deposit will net you a 40% bonus on it for sports betting.
There are other bonuses related to the current season and casino offer, so make sure to check their official website if you want to know more.
Claim you bonus at 22betClaim you bonus at 22betBanking Methods
The options when it comes to deposits and withdrawals on 22Bet are quite varied. Massively so, in fact. The list of available methods stretches on and on to even the most obscure of eWallets and online payment systems. Needless to say, the more common ways via credit and debit cards and bank transfers are there too.
In line with a large number of supported languages, a lot of different regional currencies are usable on the 22Bet platform. Cryptocurrencies are no exception, and the biggest among them are also there if that’s what you’re looking for.
22Bet Extra Features
22Bet tries to keep up with the old guard on every front, meaning that there’s much more to their website than just sports betting. These services include online slots machines and a fully functional online casino, complete with live poker and blackjack.
The sportsbook is still obviously 22Bet’s bread and butter, but in case you’re interested in any of these, know that many of the promotions mentioned earlier apply to casino gaming as well.
They also operate legally in Nigeria and Kenya, 22bet Kenya is the leading bookmaker in the Country.
Safety, Security & Customer Service
If there’s one aspect of 22Bet we can say we’re not satisfied with, it’s probably the licensing situation. The UK is among their supported countries, so it stands to reason some sort of remote gambling licence was agreed to with the UK Gambling Commission. We also know that they are currently based in Curacao and hold the local Gambling Authority’s license. However, this is not exactly the biggest and most trusted regulative body out there, and the numbers of the license were not as easy to get to as they should been.
22bet Ukraine
We always recommend wagering strictly with licensed online bookmakers, so 22Bet’s refusal to display the proper papers seems shady. Still, we’ve had no problems with withdrawals and such, and there’s a growing userbase of satisfied customers at 22Bet. Take this as you will.
A live chat service is available as a means of Customer Service, in addition to e-mail. Sadly, it is not the most responsive of services we’ve ever seen, but it certainly gets the job done.
22Bet Mobile Betting
All of the best online bookmakers have a fully supported and integrated mobile betting app, and 22Bet is no different. The full range of their offers and services is available via their mobile app, available on both iOS and Android. The app is a handy tool for keeping up with your bids and being notified of any opportunities or mobile bonuses that might pop up, and it works everywhere and at all times.
The bottom line is, 22Bet has a great shot at the big leagues. Without long years of attested reliability, for some it can be hard to trust them. However, should they sort out their licensing, and display it transparently, their great odds and sportsbook opportunities could quickly propel them to be among the top online bookmakers.
